It's not a great picture, but his car zoomed by - I'm lucky I got anything at all! There he is, passenger seat.

Welcome back H.H.
I actually came to Dharamsala to escape the crazy heat down in Delhi and the Golden Triangle, not to see the Dalai Lama. Who would have suspected then, that on my first day here, he would be returning from his trip to the US? This of course meant that, if I lined up along the route with all of the rest of the people in Dharamsala, I may get a chance to see him in person. An hour in sweltering 30C degree sun later, I only got to see him smile in the passenger seat of a Toyota as he drove by, but it was worth it - I got to see the Dalai Lama in person!
